Is Harp Sold in many places.

I usually have some jack or a pint of Guinness or Murphy's when I'm out but I do enjoy the odd pint of Harp.I went into 3 different pubs a while back and they don't serve it.what gives?

You should try a headless dog, it's a lot nicer than harp.

In dublin city O'Neils have it, and there is some hotel through dame lane that has it cheaper, I think €4

Ah right thanks Rubadub didnt think that was a real brand or not.I must give it a try!

What would be a decent substitute thats common enough most places?Buying spirits is getting to be a bit of a pain in the old pocket and my beer pallet isn't that well developed.:D

The village on wexford street have it and it's €4 a pint. Not bad at all.

Down here in Wexford most pubs stocklarge pint bottles of Harp, and an odd few pubs serve it on draught. I like it, but it leaves me with a killer headache next morning.

sorry but would sooner drink písh than harp, coming from belfast thats sacrilege for sure, but i just cant stomach the stuff

A lot of people think like that and I honestly dont know whay. Its no worse than any of the other chemical piss brews like Heineken and Miller.

Im a Guinness man myself, but there are times and places where one is best off to stay away from the draught in certain establishments, and then ill happily sink a few bottles of Harpic.

I love the taste of harp and always like to have a few cans of the stuff at home because they dont serve it on tap in my town. I started drinking guiness at the pub on saturday night and I loved the stuff.:D

Beamish is best. Recently, I was a bit disappointed to find that pubs in Leitrim did not sell it! Landlord said you won't find that up here!
