" Cats make zebras cry. " No i havnt gone mad, I'm learning the reactivity of transition metals. Calcium, magnesium, zinc, copper! Easier than that crazy honolulu mneumonic anyway!

Or you can just remember Copper is the stupid one, and that the rest are in alphabetical order.

I just think of Copper, remember it's last, and then put them in alphabetical order.

    People In History:

Person from ancient Ireland (or outside of Ireland)

Worker in a factory during the Industrial Revolution

    Renaissance Painter or Sculptor

    Question 5 in History:

The Reformation, with questions on the counter-reformation, the jesuits and the results of the reformation.

    Question 6:

    1) Medieval Times
    2) Social Change
    3) Politics 20th Century Ireland
    4) International Relations 20th Century

    That's all for History!

    Geography:

-Affects of climate or war and the developement of a country
-Change of location of industry over time.
-Change in function of a location over time
    -Weathering of Limestone

That's all I have for geography!

We were told because of everything that has happened over the last year and a bit, that earthquakes and volcanoes are almost certain to come up.

Also for History, the famine is due for section 5, and a reformer is due for People in History

I was almost sure the Industrial Revolution would be q5? But now everyone seems to have a different story, and it's the only second year part I know inside out. I suppose I could string something together for the reformation but anything else...oh dear.

    Nothings "due"!!!!!!!

Seriously, don't think anything is "due" you'll be relying on it to come up during the actual test too much then. Just because everyone says the IR will come up doesn't mean it will. No one can know for sure. My guess is the reformation will come up in Q5, or else the renaissance may come up. That's what I think anyways! Afterall it is a "prediction" thread.

Desire.... I had the same pres as you then! Piss easy it was! Renaissance painter and reformer was too easy. And I got 30/30 for Q5 in it, so if IR does come up then sorted!

But Q5 is always Second Year topics i.e. Exploration, Reformation, Plantations, Revolutions, Industrial Revolution/Irish society. Renaissance?

I also had the same mock paper, mahn I loved that paper. My 96% was thoroughly undeserved but heck, I'm not complaining. :pac:

You're right actually! I stand by reformation though! 1850 could come up though. Age of exploration is a possibility too though, it nearly always comes up!

As for the first question in Q6, Either ancient Ireland or middle ages, nearly positive of it!

I hope Ancient Ireland comes up, well at least the Mesolithic and Neolithic bits. I'm a bit sketchy on the Bronze Age!

I only got 85% in that Pre!

I actually really like the Reformation for the most part, if I read over the duller parts like Reformation in England I'd be OK with that...as long as I was able to write about Martin Luther. Exploration wouldn't be desirable, not the worst thing in the world though...But if Plantations/Revolutions come up...oh lordy.

I have a feeling Revolutionary Movements will be 6A, no idea why!

    Damn you, I got 84:P
But we hadn't learned about 2 out of the 4 questions in Question 6 back then, I think Social Change and Cold War. So I was forced to do the Middle Ages(we never learned that propeerly) and Political Developments in 20th Century Ireland

Age of exploration came up last year in Q5 they nevr hav the same 2 years in a row. Reformation is 2nd most likely but farming and industrial revolution is most likely. As for Q6 dnt bother worryin abou the 1stQ, jus do C an D

But question 6C is very broad. If nothern Ireland comes up, I'm gonna need a question to fall back on.
I really don't like doing social change, even though it's common sense. I'd rather do something that I have facts about.

what do you mean "don't rule out ending" ??:P

as in you can get a question saying briefly talk about a satisfying or un satisfying ending in a studies novel you have chosen .. that has not come up in ages !

Its a poem about dealing with consequences and the effects your choices have on your life . Frost chose to become a poet even though it was the hard way .
In the first stanza , the poet is out for a walk and come across a junction with 2 paths ( symbolise life ) . He takes his time but both roads look the same and he cant see down either far enough . It is also based in autumn time .
    " yellow wood " , " long i stood "

In the second stanza , frost chooses one . it looked like the less people took . He doesnt see the difference between the two .
" it was grassy and wanted wear" ,"about the same "

STANZA 3 , he tries to tell himself that he's keeping the road do" for another day " its his way of making his decision easier . He know he will properly never return .

STANZA 4, he believes he may regret his choice " telling this with a sigh " , Yet he made his decision and to him it has made all the difference in his life . He choose " the road less travelled by " . Not many did . Believes his choice was the right one . " i took the road less travelled by and that has made all the difference "

    Roads are symbols ;
They represent the choice . Frost had to make in his life .
His choice - be normal and same as everyone else , Or Become a poet , more dificult .

    Straight lines!

In fairness there's not much you can predict with that, you either know it or not, no bullsh**ting.

I still maintain predictions for Tech are useless, TBH the constructions that come up don't change too often and most of the constructions are covered in the exam.
