From what I understand they're introducing masters en masse for people finishing GDF this year..This means anyone thinking of doing it may have no IT work experience and yet have a post grad (level 9 which is Masters level) and an actual research masters??? Doesnt seem right to me, I have recently finished it and overall find it to be massively overpriced, I would advise anyone looking to do it to do it elsewhere as there is no real structure to it , other than "ye're all adults lads, ye should know what to do etc", it will on the other hand be pretty useful for those with computer industry experience, of which there was a small handful, but not for a start in IT i reckon, not good enough by a long way, any GDF students agree with this??? :D

No, the GDF -> MDF route is now gone and closed off as of last year. The current MDF group will be the last. A new MSc route is being opened with the same name, but its not the same product, thus the confusion.
