    Hi,
Im thinking of heading down to Kerry to do the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle this year. I've asked practically all my friends to come, but no one is interested. I know there will be loads of people cycling on the day, but is it weird for me to head down and do it on my own?

If you do a quick search, there's a very similar thread from about 2 weeks ago. The short answer is 100% absolutely not - there is nothing weird about heading down.
To be slightly longer (though this is repeated in the other thread), there will probably be in the region of 5000 people doing it. Lots of different people, abilities, chat, groups etc. etc. There will probably be a rake of people from here doing it (identifiable by jerseys) and usually arrange to meet up at a particular time on a thread here. These groups break up or increase in size depending on the day so there's constant flittering between people all day. It's a marvellously fun event with everybody out to have a good time. Also, the Munster final is on that day so it promises to be a cracking night in Killarney too!

    Do it!

You couldn't do the ROK on your own even if you wanted to.

I think seventy trillion people did it last year.
