all the menus...everything is in a different weird language. completely random.
any way i can change it?

i cant even work out how to take a screen shot so numbers in menus would be helpful.. im afraid to logout in fear my password wont be recognised.

thanks,... and please please post an answer. thanks.

System -> Administration -> Language Support

I reach it on mine by

Applications Places SYSTEM in the main bar, then
    System opens to
    Preferences
    ADMINISTRATION

    then
    Authorizations
    Computer Janitor
    Hardware Drivers
LANGUAGE SUPPORT (has an icon of a blue flag beside it).

However, the list seems to be alphabetical, so may be different in your new language.
Also I'm running 9.04 (don't ask) so it's quite possible that the layout is different.

You could run gnome-language-selector in a terminal.

Does the PrtScr button not automatically create a PNG of your screen?
When you log out you can choose what language to log back in with, in any case.

Or try pressing "ALT-F2" and typing it into the box that should pop up.
