I know as a student we can see it for free and we're allowed a number of guests. Anyone know what that number is? I've about 8 american visitors coming... reckon it would it be a bit cheeky to bring them in in groups?

Do we get in free to see the Book of Kells with a guest too?

The guy at the desk said I can bring three, that's into the Book of Kells and the Long Room. You might get away with a few more if it isn't too busy.

I think if you can email them up beforehand to bring in more than 3.

They do seem to be flexible if you ask nicely. 8 may be pushing it, but give them a try anyway.

Bring two friends, get them to bring your guests in, let them leave.

It's 3 plus yourself. But they can be sound to the extent that I've been allowed take in 4 before.
