Anybody really sick and tired of the 'get as many people to like your comment' competitions?

So many bogus accounts out there and people who are professional compers.

One whose initials come to mind is N.B. I'm sure you all know who I'm talking about. Is she even real?!

Maybe she's just really really really really really.............lucky;)

Those comp's would turn you off entering comp's. Makes me feel queasy even reading some of the comments. So much begging and pleading. I just avoid them.

I've used Loquax and theprizefinder.com when I've had the time over the last couple of years. I've never won a major prize but have won dvds, t-shirts, cosmetics. Loquax takes a bit more time as you have to read through all the individual comp Ts&Cs to find out which ones are open to ROI. I find the prizefinder site easier to zip through as they state on the 'home' page for the comps whether they're open to ROI or not (about 95% accuracy).
I suppose another thing to bear in mind is that the sites are UK based so I guess a lot more entrants and a smaller chance of winning.
Anyway, they're just my thoughts. Hope that helps.

What's worse is that it's completely against the terms of agreement signed by all those groups and companies relating to running competitions on Facebook.

Essentially, you not allowed to use any of the mechanisms of Facebook to run a competition and can only run them through an app or canvas page.

Hi all, I've been lurking on this lovely thread for a while, and while I haven't won anything yet, I thought I'd boost my karma chances and post this comp! Also hoping to be the first poster on page 500:)
