Volunteer Work in Leitrim

I would really love to get involved with some volunteer work in South Leitrim, particularly in education. Anyone know anything out there or any ideas? :D

I know Sligo has a volunteer centre that you can register and they try hook you up with a relevant place, don't know if Leitrim has something similar but you could try the web site

Good luck. If you are into education perhaps contact the local schools to see if there are opportunities to volunteer for homework clubs etc . You will probably need to get garda clearance for it so be prepared to wait, afaik the waiting lists can be long and each different place has to get their own clearance.
