Best of luck to him, hope he can manage his illness. Watching him on TV you could see he'd let himself go, but everyone was saying it was booze. Fair play to him for talking about it, can't be easy. I wouldn't be a big fan but the game needs quality players like him.

Sad to read that story about Wade. Hopefully he'll be back to full health shortly and winning world ranking titles again,he's a far too good player to lose from our TV screens.

Fair play to Wade but what kind of sad era do we live in when the media has nothing better to do than run stories about a mans mental health issues which he'd like to keep quiet. I admire Wade for what he says but detest the fact he was practically forced to release a statement on it.

Hope he gets his form back to his peak. He was unlucky in prem and is recovering. This might actually work in his favour. Crowd may get off his back and actually get behind him.

Never really liked Wade, but that paints him in a whole different light. I think i will be alot more sympathetic towards him now and may even cheer him on!

    Super talented player.

Met him a few years ago at Citywest and got a pic with him, an absolute gent. I always thought he was a real eccentric, and the above explains why.

    Wish him well.

I'm another who never really liked Wade, I thought that somedays he looked up for it and others he just didn't care. I think this explains it all. There is no doubting that he is a top class players and I hope that he recovers fully and gets back to playing as well as he can.
