    I know its probably been asked a million times but i have Schwalbe Blizzards on the bike at the moment and i am looking for something a bit lighter without sacrificing too much on puncture resistance.

    Conti GP4000s are a good choice.
    Good in the wet and roll well (ooh er mrs etc)

    I've always used Michelin so I can't comment on the Contiental's however I've never punctured on Michelin Krylion Carbons and I've been doing all my sportives on them this year when normally I would have changed back to Michelin Pro3 Race so that says I haven't noticed a big fall off in performance. I will change back to the Pro3's eventually.

    think i will give the conti's a blast. haven't used the brand for a couple of years after a few bad experiences. thanks for the advice
