CrossFire a 6970 with 6950

According to the ATI site you can. But has anybody done it here? If I got my hands on a refrence 6950 I could unlock it then xfire it with my 6970. But what are the opinions of a reference 6970 with a flashed 6950->6970? Cheers.

Mate of mine did it with a 6950 flashed to a 6970, however theres no overvolt support in MSI afterburner for this kind of setup, also with stock volts you'll not get much of an overclock.
