According to the ATI site you can. But has anybody done it here?

If I got my hands on a refrence 6950 I could unlock it then xfire it with my 6970.

But what are the opinions of a reference 6970 with a flashed 6950->6970?

    Cheers.

Mate of mine did it with a 6950 flashed to a 6970, however theres no overvolt support in MSI afterburner for this kind of setup, also with stock volts you'll not get much of an overclock.

Ignoring idiots who comment "far right" because they don't even know what it means
