I installed Mint Katya RC but for the life of me, I cannot get it to connect to my WiFi. It has the driver and I enabled it but anytime I go into the Network Connections box, and specify the SSID and password for the Wireless connection it just does nothing and has the status of "never used".

Don't know why it's not working. It's not throwing an error, it just seems to be doing nothing.

Anything in the logs? Watch for bold text entries in the Log Viewer when trying to connect.

I think the problem is that it doesn't even seem to be attempting to connect. I add in the network name and everything and it doesn't even seem to do anything. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong and it's an RC version I guess too. I don't think I had this problem with an older version of Mint though, or Ubuntu.

Anyway I'm removing it tonight and may re-install an older version that does work.
