    Hi,

I have 10.04 LTS successfully running under OS X/ Parallels 5.

I've downloaded 11.04 and have tried to install, but am getting the error message above.

    Any thoughts?

    Any and all help appreciated.

    DFD.

For clarity, the install is successful, but I don't have Unity.

    You're not missing much tbh...

I had the same problem when installing on VirtualBox under Windows, I guess you could try messing about the display settings (increase available memory and enable 3D acceleration)

    /edit
I also had to "apt-get install virtualbox-ose-guest-utils", so I guess you'll have to do something similar...

you need 3d acceleration enabled for unity, but as said above, feck unity, its horrid !! :D
