Best colour shirt for a Grey suit?

What do you guys think the best colour shirt to pair with a grey suit is? I'll be wearing a grey suit, black shoes and a black tie. Right now I'm thinking light blue or light pink, you guys got any recommendations?

Pale yellow looks really good with a grey suit, if it suits your skin tone. Some purples and lavender look very well too.

Depends on the look your going for. My other half just got a pale grey suit in Bertoni & he put a lilac shirt with it, looks fab. You could also put a black shirt with it, would look very smart, but depends on the occasion.

Light blue looks amazing or purple/lilac. I`m partial to colourful stripes on men thou.

I'd agree with the above posts but you'll have to reconsider the tie colour,
I'd go with a patterned/textured tie with a similiar (but not the same) shade of colour as the shirt, assuming it's a solid shirt.

If it's a pale Grey suit I'd go with a black or light pink shirt.;)

Lots of coloured shirts go with a gray suit, but very few with a gray suit AND black tie. Purple/lilac looks great with either a gray or purple coloured tie. If you're dead set on the black tie, i'd go with a white, a black or a gray. Possibly a red, but it'd have to be the right red...

The shirt and tie combo to which you link will probably not work with a grey suit. The shirt is fine but working two grey items is not easy.

Go with a plain navy tie (properly navy, not dark blue) or dark navy with a polka dot.
