Sweet - very particular laws on whether you can tax it as camper or no. I'm sure you've read about it here anyhow. Shagman would be a good man to talk to on this.

    I know the rules:

1 bed (can be a convertible seat), 1 cabinet/cupboard, 1 table (can be fold-away job) , 1 cooking facility (which I plan on sticking in the boot/back as a pull-out jobby).

    Those are all no problem.

The last rule, which I need to measure the van up for is 1.80m from floor to roof inside (doesn't have to be throughout the whole van). So it has to be a high roof or half-high roof anyhow. This is where my VW Caravelle with regular roof never could comply as camper.

Oh yeah, as they say in AH, pics or GTFO! ;)

Not before a deal is made and the van is mine. Might be a while, as there also is a monetary issue, which I'm working on.

The 120Y is only there for effect really..!
Yes, the A35 was tidy, i didnt take any photo of it, though i probably have one somewhere on this computer.

Re the Scimitars, i cannot see the attraction of them. People give me stick for having an interest in hearses...they are as close as you would get in a car. They also have a similar engine....:D

Congratulations then, you're one of a few :D (anyway i'm pretty sure you will turn your head like vast majority out there). Engines are same in both machines (SE6a = Ford Essex 3.0 V6, SE6b is Cologne 2.8 V6).

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that 'naming' people is wrong? Same thing just happened on the Not Buying thread . . .

I took these at the Manoir de l'Automobile car museum in Loheac last November, its near Rennes and is a great stop off if you're heading south from Cherbourg or Roscoff.

Something for everyone, including some of the oldest cars around....

This is a 1907 Renault Taxi from Paris, it would have been used in the famous Marne Taxi run in 1914 where French soldiers were ferried out of Paris to fight the advancing German aarmy.

Some of the Lamborghinis on display.

Athlone got invaded by Mini's yesterday. And I mean an invasion.

There wasn't a corner around Kilmartins Filling Station, where there wasn't a bunch of them.

Oxo 11 was on this weekend at Oxford Island, Lurgan.

It's mostly VW aircooled, but the T4/T5 forum, which I'm part of, was also present and a good few other interesting things.

Here a few pictures from today:
