Can I repair the Mbr with Windows Automated Installation Kit (WAIK)?

If I download the Windows AIK, will I be able to repair the Mbr. I don't have a installation disk, will this do as a replacement?

Which OS are you using? If it's XP then you can download a .iso of the Recovery Console here from which you should be able to run the fixmbr command.

Recovery Disk iso for Vista
Recovery Disk iso for Win7

For either of those you want to go to the command prompt and type "bootrec /FixMbr" (no quotes) then hit enter
