Whats the story with the Asylum gig on the 25th? tickets on sale this Monday @ 9.30am (early bird) and only available through the website??

..... not very "bitd" way of doing things is it? :rolleyes:

How does "average joe" (no cred card & working Monday at 9.30am with no access to a PC) avail of a ticket/s?

ya just need a torrent client like utorrent or bittorrent, get that here http://www.utorrent.com/downloads/complete just install it.

then go to isohunt or piratebay or any torrent provider and look for a cracked version of nero, once ya get one download the torrent which will be a very small file, out 23KB or somethin, then just double click the torrent you downloaded and it will open in utorrent for you and download

big fuss over nowt, lets be clear. its in the vaults, last time i seen the vaults sold out was when it 1st opened lol, all this hype around early bird tickets is a load of crap to get people to use their plastic instead of payin at the door. will eat my hat if ya can't get in by payin at the door :pac: i know its the asylum reunion anall that but that place sees "oldskool" gigs every other week and this is just another oldskool gig with a different name after all. that sounded very negative there lol, did i mention how much i'm lookin forward to it

or...find a newsagent that sells payzonemoney.ie credit card, its a creditcard,(mastercard) that allows you to top it up, theyre real handy for buyin stuff online,min top up is a tenner, max in 2.500, 3.50 euro charge everytime you top it up of any amount,compared to other cards,payzone charge for each transaction you make, just the extra 3.50 any time you topup,

Sound e's thks for your help but i might be ok.I decided to try my sonic recordnow disc (which i received with my old dell computer) on my new (old) compaq pc.See there's a scratch on the disc and it failed to rip after several attempts on my old dell pc.but i hung onto the disc and tried it on the compaq pc i have now and het presto it ripped.The only thing is i'm d/l a DJ Dag mix and it's at 91% so i don't want to interupt the d/l as i need to restart mt pc for the installation to take effect.

But going back to the torrents.I never really got into that way on d/l.I did install 1 years ago on my old pc but never really gave it a chance and never really needed it so i removed it.
I've also just d/l nero from Ni.! i previously requested which was still alive so i should be ok

torrents are great for music and movies ace, i use em all the time. also great for programs but ya need to be a bit careful with that as sometimes they can have a virus attatched to them, i usually scan them with malwarebytes when i do download them just to make sure nothin escaped AVG, but they are dead handy man, i love em.

I remember a discussion on this album on this thread not so long ago. Anyways Classic Albums on BBC 4 tonight at 1230 is about the making of Screamadelica. The Classic Albums series are usually great documentaries, don't expect this to be any different. If you don't catch it tonight I'm sure it'll be repeated again soon enough.
