Depends on what you're into
Ennis is only 25 mins away from Lahinch so if you're up for it, you could go surfing, doesn't matter if it's raining, you'll be wet regardless
They rent out boards at the beach for very reasonable price, if you want something a bit more relaxed, you could go to see the bunratty folk park or take a walk in the burren or just drive out the coast road and take in the sights of the burren.
