Bought a new(er) car last week. Put the Registration Cert into the mail with the old owner last Friday.

How long should it take for a new certificate to be issued?

    Cheers

There was a thread here recently asking similar and it varied from 1 to 3 weeks iirc. You can do a vehicle transaction enquiry on the motor tax website and it will tell you if the change has gone through yet.

Thanks Delly, searched but didn't see that thread.

And that site is weird. It shows that the ownership of my old car was changed last Friday (29 April) and notified on Tuesday (3 May).

Yet they still issued me with a motor tax renewal form for the vehicle this morning.

Anyway, just a glitch I suppose. Thanks.
