I use one of these http://www.switcheasy.com/products/TRIM/TRIM.php let the phone drop loads of times, it's got great grip without being big, it's semi see through there about 25 euro in the shops. Highly recommend it.

Not being smart but I bought this on ebay afew months ago...

    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=71973266

plenty of drops and a crack did appear up the side after afew months - but at 2.25 all in you can afford to replace it every so often :)

otterbox commuter about €30 and was/is available in vodafone stores(not the skinniest but v.safe)
buy yourself a zagg invisishield screen protector if you need to protect the screen from scratches
i have both since x-mas couldn't be happier

Not sure if the free iPhone case programme is running.

But i got one of the free cases from Apple; Incase Snap

A few cracks have appeared in the case from a few drops and that. But other that that I love it. Its not big and chunky and most people don't even realise i've a case on the phone. I think when mine eventually goes i'll probably fork out the money for a replacement.

7dayshop.com very reasonable, although not genuine, but they do fit. Order one or ten and you pay the same price. Also very cheap ink cartridges. No VAT to pay either!!! :)

    l_07673465.jpg

It is in Pixmania(33,65 with shippment) and Vmaxx(21,68 don't know if it's with shipp or not...)

What do you think about it? Does anybody have contact with Case Mate products??

Speck pixelskinHD is the one I have bought on amazon for €20 all in and it's widely regarded as the best iPhone 4 case. Apple also stock it

Belkin have a good range available in Harvey Normans or most good stores. Be sure to also get the plastic screen protector that sticks to your screen. Saved my phone from milk loads of times

Had an otter box case myself and agree that it is a good solid product. However I don't use it anymore since I bought a 4g charging case from this website http://macaccessorize.com/. Would highly recommend it as it gives me 2days of battery life now on my iPhone 4 compared to 1 day without it.

how much chunkier is it over the otterbox?

Its about the same size as the otterbox, a tad longer but not much difference in terms of slimness. I took a few photos of it next to an ipod touch to give you an idea of the size, hope they are of some help..

I'm getting one of these very classy cases for my 4s: http://www.grovemade.com/collections/iphone-4-case-features-page/

Not a big fan of any of the available art though so I'm going to design my own

Wow....they are expensive, would you really spend that much to make your iPhone look like a piece of tree?

Am I alone in hating cases.

I love the design of the iPhone, and whilst I can see the uses of cases I find that any case just takes away from the design.

Would prefer to go without one but not a chance of me doing that as it's likely that the phone I just paid €600 for will be dropped at some point. A friend of mine has a case for his iPhone 4, plain black, simple, no gimmicky design or print and it's extremely durable. Not sure who makes it but I'll be getting the same for my 4S.

It's worth it to me. Art and graphic design are passions of mine and it matters a lot to me that something I use so much looks great.

One man's food. To me it's gorgeous and not a plasticky mess like 95% of the cases out there.

I like art and appreciate beauty as well but wrapping your iPhone in a wood carving looks awful and tacky to me and is not in keeping with the upper-end design of iPhones.

Anyhow, everyone has their own taste.

Anyone out there got a reliable source for an Apple bumper style protection. My own one is starting to deteriorate but I'm not willing to fork out another €30!!!

Anyone got good experiences from reliable sellers on eBay or any Amazon options???

I've only had the Apple bumper 6 months. Do I have any option of a replacement from Apple? The rubber is coming away at the docking end and the hard plastic has snapped there too. Surely I should get more than 6 months from the product? Could the 1 year warranty apply to an accessory like a bumper?

    Eagerly awaiting it's arrival:)

Got this in HMV yesterday for €20 , I was a bit concerned about the bottom part coming off easily but a member of staff actually had one and he found it good, Iv only been using it for a day but it seems fine and its a nice quality finish on it The bottom case separation is actually handy for putting it into a charging dock. Using it with an iP4S
