Is there anywhere in Ireland that sells amp parts like replacement speakers? I'm looking for a decent speaker 8" speaker for my Peavey Valveking like a Jensen, but can only fine on internet. Prices for speakers themselves are fine, but shipping costs as much as the speaker itself!

Also looking for JJ Tesla vacuum tubes and some amp speaker grill cloth.

    Thanks.

Did you try Maplin and Peats? If they dont have it they might be able to get it in and Peats have free delivery within Ireland.

Have you looked on Thomann? €15 shipping to Ireland.

Thanks for feedback. Had a look at Maplins but they don't stock brand name stuff that I'm looking for. Saw that Jensen speaker on Thomann, but it's more than I was planning to spend. Cost of speaker plus postage nearly €100. Looking for a Jensen Mod speaker, they are about $30 on ebay, but postage is the problem.
The amp cost less than €150, so don't want to spend too much on it. :)

I found this site when I was looking for speakers before:

    http://www.lean-business.co.uk/eshop/

Looks like they don't do Jensen but they have a decent range of Celestion, Eminence etc, and their shipping is reasonable. I didn't buy a speaker in the end (yet) so I can't comment on their service.

Thomann also have a good selection.

Watford Valves are a good professional outfit, and if you want to call or email them, there'll be someone there that actually knows what they are talking about and can guide you. They do Jensen speakers too

Thanks lads. I saw a celestion super 8 that Lean Business was selling on eBay, but shipping was nearly twice the price of the speaker. The Watford Valves website looks promising, they have Jensen ceramic vintage in 8" and also do JJ tubes. I wonder if their cryogenic treated tubes make any difference, or is this cryogenic treatment stuff a load of b*ll*x?
