Interview for volunteer role

    Hi,
    This might be a strange question but I have an interview for a voluntary position which involves working with young people (it hasn't actually been referred to as an interview but I'm presuming that that is what is essentially is) and I'm unsure as to what to wear. For the volunteer work I do at the moment, it's really casual - I think I wore jeans for that interview - but I'm worried that this organisation might be different and I don't want to make a bad impression. Should I dress up like I would for a regular job interview? I don't want to feel uncomfortable either wearing high shoes etc. in a casual setting. What do you think? Does the fact that it's been referred to more as an informal meeting than an interview make any difference?

    if it's been specifically referred to as an informal meeting then I would go down the smart / casual route or standard office attire.
