    Looks like a images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQtBvc4_WC_-wQofzf-lbgj8Lo-BOvf5x_k403qXgQ2KDAI4xMT-GEJ8xY
Sorry, a Beauford, this biggest waste of a Sierra ever. Though that one seems to have a longer wheelbase than usual?

Does have the look of a Ford A or B kit or hotrod. Maybe one of these:

Belgian reg.... and no fake plates to be found (wink wink PaulCCI)
    :D

The convertible is registered as a vintage car (reg begins with O). The other two are registered as normal cars and therefore still have to be tested every year.

A lot of people prefer them, as they look more 'authentic'. . . .

4s are fine, authentic looking and can be spaced correctly. 5s on the other hand look totally wrong, not unlike a ZZ temporary import.

Ah Jaysus like.......... at least try and ring the plates with the same make, some guys are just taking the piss now. I saw a mk 2 Fiesta around the city the other night with plates off a 1978, a ZT reg, now that's just begging to be pulled in my view and should be too.

Those ringers should be stopped. This will get all (honest) classic car enthusiasts in trouble. We'll all end up paying for these cowboys

That's a late 60's / early 70's Sunbeam Rapier. Quite a rare beast now. I knew a guy who used to run one on a home made lpg system during the 70's fuel crisis.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,638 ✭✭✭zilog_jones

The Peugeot 406 and 307 were available in a "Rapier" trim level, I wonder if this was a reference to the Sunbeams considering that PSA took over what remained of Rootes? There was also a 306 Alpine and a 605 Sceptre, and possibly more...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,382 ✭✭✭jimmyw

I just saw one of them Sunbeams in a small garage for sale the other day while travelling on the main road.A bit shocked to see one at all never mind in good condition.
