48volt battery Electric bike

    Hello

    Ofcourse I went all out and ordered a 48v 1000watt kit electric bike conversion kit on ebay , and like an idiot , did not realise you actually needed a 48v battery to run the bike.

    So now Im stuck with a powerful kit , with no power,

    any ideas where you could buy a 48volt battery at around 100E.

    the same smartarse seller selling the batterys for 220 euro ?

    the kit cost 200 euro , see my point.

    Wow. I hope you got a rear motor wheel. 1000w at 48v will get you up to 50kph and climb any hill. down side is most batts will last 20km before needing a recharge. You know you can power that using a 36V battery, it just won't be nearly as powerful. The smallest LiFePo4 battery you could get away with would be 10ah and cost 200ish, well worth it though as it will last you years of use. Stay well clear of cheap SLA's.
