So, sitting my Leaving Cert this year, and I have Maynooth down as my first choice on the CAO (and the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, maybe 5th), going for Arts (English and Music, hopefully). Just thought it might be an idea to post a thread for anyone hoping to get in this year, who might not know anyone going, to get to know anyone else coming in, see if you can make acquaintance beforehand. Might make starting college a bit easier, or less daunting or something! This is meant to be nothing more than a conversation thread, really, a starting point! Making it easier for the shy types, maybe. So, yeah...

Haha, sure, it's only 9 weeks until the leaving!:P CAO is closed and all! True though, I never really think about how it's another few months after the leaving's done anyway!

Also, Brian fairplay on the course choice! Science ed is hard to get into.. like 500 points or something?
Either way you're sorted for a job afterwards :D

Yeah I live right beside Maynooth so my first five CAO choices are for Maynooth :L
    You live near it? =P
I'm totally screwed for points.. like 380 or something which'll be some achievement considering I failed two of my Mock tests :L

If it's Computer Science and Software Engeneering you're after then it's 350 points :o
