Hi, when I now open outlook express it looks for a username and password.
I don't have either and I cannot remember ever having any!
I cannot send or receive emails on outlook express now. An error message comes up stating that I cannot access pop.iol.ie.
    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks.

You are going to have to try and remember it.

Sounds like your mail is set up for iol.ie which was Ireland On Line, Which was taken over by BT Ireland which was then sold to Vodafone.

If you need support contact vodafone ireland and they may be able to help you.

your username will probably be your email name without the @iol.ie part.

You may be able to guess the password.

You would be best advised to move to something like gmail as IOL.ie is dead as a brand.
