Mavic wheels

    Will these wheels http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=58590 fit a giant defy 3.5 without having to change the groupset or rear cassette??

    Edit: and I know it should be mavic wheels. Spell predict on phone is beyond stupid :)

    They will fit. You may have to tune the derailler a smidgen but most likely not. I swap between Shimano wheels and Aksiums alot and don't have to touch a thing.

    They will, but you won't need to return them. There's loads of us on the forum with Aksiums on a myriad of different bikes.

    its a SRAM PG 850 12-26 cassette

    Shimano will be compatible with your SRAM cassette.

    SLightly different lockring removal tool but the chain whip is kinda important.

    niceone. very good vid. i have a chain whip for changing oil filters on cars so that will do the job i reckon. thanks for the tip though. i coulda been scratching the aul noodle for a while trying to firgure out how to stop the cassette spinning :)
