    At the Drumkeerin Community Centre, Co. Leitrim.

    Men's, Ladies' and Youths' Singles Competitions starting at 5.00pm sharp.
    Check-in at 4.00pm
    Total Prize Fund - - € 1,600
    Proceeds to North West Hospice

    The above tournament took place last Sunday in Drumkeerin Community Centre with seventy players participating. Again, a very successful tournament with proceeds going to North West Hospice, Sligo.


    The Open section was won by Sean McGowan (Sligo) who beat Martin Heneghan (Mayo) 6-1 in the final. Sean received €400, Cup & Perpetual Cup with Martin receiving €200 & trophy. Beaten semi-finalists were Colm Mulvey (Leitrim) and Noel O’Reilly (Cavan), each receiving €100 & trophy. Beaten Quarter Finalists were Eugene McDermott Jnr , Ray Mulvey & Bobby Mulvey (all Leitrim) and Pat McDonald (Sligo). Each received €50 & trophy.


    The Ladies section was won by Denise Cassidy who beat Joan Hoy (both Fermanagh) 5-0 in the final. Denise received €200, Cup & Perpetual Cup with Joan receiving €100 & trophy. Beaten Semi-Finalists were Ann McGowan (Sligo) and Emma McKenna (Leitrim), each receiving €50 & trophy.


    The Youths section was won by Conor Heneghan (Mayo) who beat Stephen McDonald (Sligo) 5-0 in the final. Conor received the Gerard McKenna Perpetual Cup, €100 & Cup with Stephen receiving €50 & trophy. Beaten Semi-Finalists were Aaron Leonard (Fermanagh) and Paul Christy (Leitrim), each receiving €25 & trophy.
