    I've seen lots of people putting hi-vis jackets on rucksacks.

    but if you lean forward all the taffic behind you sees is the BOTTOM of the rucksack so check that hi-vis is appropiate to your cycling style

    True enough - but the RSA backpack covers go completely around the bag, including the bottom so if you're a upright commuter of comfort or a head down, arse up commuter racer they should be an effective step up from having nothing.

    If you're happy enough to have the RSA logo on show they're not bad for a commuter orientated freebie
