Ah, righteous song. Concluded the other day that The New Pornographers are my favourite 'new' band and, more depressingly, that they're the one band besides Los Campesinos! in my iTunes whose songs can be called 'happy', or at least 'happy sounding'. Probably should remedy that. Should hope that Metric and Broken Social Scene make it into that mixtape btw!

Thanks to L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N being played frequently on the radio I have discovered Noah and the Whale. Love this song atm.

Yaaaay, unreleased Two Door Cinema Club song that gives me hope that their next album won't exactly mirror Tourist History. It's not exactly a huge shift, but it's good enough for me.

Broken Social Scene's "Lover's Spit" has made the cut. Metric have been long-listed, but I'm really not sure which song to pick; they'll get a place though.
