Garmin Edge 500 Problem

Uploaded tonights ride data just 20 minutes ago. No problems. Switched on the edge 5 minutes later and it just keeps beeping every 10 seconds and the Garmin logo appears on the sreen but it doesn't actually switch on, i.e. doesn't get any further than this. Have tried resetting it by simultaneously pressing and holding…

Anyone had this problem occur before?

This has gone back to Garmin as of Monday. Called them up and they advised to send it back straight away. Only got an email from them today recommending same. Anyone with similar prob is best to call them instead of waiting for reply by email. Will save you 3-4 days.
