When Ikea was built I like went insane. Turns out I'm very good at making flat pack furniture :P
I've never been to Ikea but I really want to go. I love furniture stoes even though I still live at home and my parents would not be happy with me turning up with random furniture. I just find myself planning out rooms for my hypothetical house.

I've never tried making flatpack furniture but my parents always buy flat pack even tohugh it usually results in them shouting at each other over whose fault it is if something goes wrong.

Well they said you can shave once, but no more so as not to irritate the skin, and I know even that is just precautionary but i figure a bit of beard now means a better face later. Doesn't help I have fair facial hair to start with...

Went to see Mcfly in Dublin on Monday. The woman sitting beside was in her forties or fifties and definitely the oldest person there without a kid. She absolutely loved it, knew all the words and jumped around with everyone else. I have a feeling that'll be me in thirty years or so...

Ugh, sorry to hear that. From my (somewhat limited) experience, long distance relationships are a pain in the ass and just end in heartbreak. :(

How "distant" is the distance between you?

    Thanks KnifeWRENCH :(

She's in North London and I'm still in Ireland. I'm moving hopefully in a few weeks but still it's hard. I saw her last weekend but she's in bits since I went home. So am I kinda but y'know, gotta keep going. Hopefully we'll be ok.

Ah ,poor thing. :( I thought being in different parts of Ireland was bad enough, but being in different countries really sucks.

If you do move there though, I'm sure things will pick up. Try stay positive anyway. :)

Still, if you can get through this you'll know how you really feel. :)

Did you ever read the coming out story where the mother asks her son - are you lesbian, gay and bisexual?

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Love that story! Well that part of it anyway, I can't remember most of it. Was there something about it standing for ladies and gents basketball? I really have a head like a sieve!

I watched Brendan O'Connor the other night with Dana International. Now, she has been my hero for the last ten odd years. But her interview just cemented that belief. Although clearly nervous, she could alternate between having a laugh and talking serious business and not being embarrassed about it. She's just great.
