    I find the "it's just sex" type nookie the worst!

    To me, it has to be more than just sex which probably explains why one night stands aren't my thing. Been there, done that, think it's a personal thing, like how a pint on a Friday evening always taste nicer, you've worked for it!

    The 30% who voted 'Agree' on this poll either aren't getting any or simply aren't doing it right. Because sex, done right with the right person and in the right circumstances, is amazing. Sorry OP but you fail dismally on this one. Not the be all and end all no, but can be very very nice all the same.

    Sex is great, but mates constantly talking about it bores the ****e out of me...

    I agreed.

    It's enjoyable, alright, but alcohol/out drinking is the clear winner.

    I don't really drink at all (maybe once a year) but I find it shocking how often people are mad to go out and spend hundreds on getting drunk and staggering home, then waking up the following morning with a busting headache, only to do the same thing again.


    Baffles me how it's managed to catch on in society (not that im giving out about people who do it, fair play to them, but i just dont see any appeal to it whatsoever).

    Sex is not the most over rated thing ever. Personally there are two things I couldn't live without: a salary and a great shag. No matter what happens in my life, if I always have those two things I will feel lucky. I literally would rather die than live a life devoid of sex.

    I think has a lot to do with hormone levels. When I'm feeling lethargic sex is a chore and there are times when I honestly can't tell if I actually came or not. When I feel energetic and pumped up I love it.

    totally agree with this. sexual tension is THE best part of being with someone. I love the part before you get together, wondering is he into me? should I kiss him? etc etc. and then if you click with someone things can be great. though I haven't experienced great sex myself tbh.     With it being the internet though, I'd put money on it many people who aren't getting any are the ones who go on about how amazing their sex lives are, and their endless conquests.
    As for the "doing it wrong" thing - ok, there may be a certain amount of that when it comes to some stuff, but it's also hugely down to what the individual enjoys. What gets one person off won't do anything for someone else. I'd imagine those who think it's over-rated all the time just haven't yet had sex with someone for whom they have intense feelings.

    Disagree. I like it as often as possible, but rarely satisfied for long. Orgasms seem to be getting more and more intense the older I get. Not complaining :pac:

    It's great and I couldn't live without it but some people go on about it too much and almost turn it into a specialist subject or source of dick-waving with others online.

    In general - unless I want to sleep with them or find them interesting - I don't want to hear the minutae of people's sex life online.
