We all know about the 404 seed, but are there any amazing seeds that you've found?

Personally, I found the seed;

If you know who he is is, then great. If not, try the seed anyway, the world does not disappoint!

Oh, and remember to try your name, mine came up with a crappy world so screw that :P

Some guy over on the minceraft forum found this seed which I started using. Its very interesting with the overhang cliffs

My name came up with a fairly ok world, dungeon right where I spawned only like 5 blocks down and loads of Iron at sea level

Bacon is a great seed. Found Iron and a monster spawned and a huge cave system within minutes.

Dublin Ireland isn't bad, starts off in snowy conditions with huge trees surrounding the area. Lots of resources close by too.

Just a heads up, the world is the exact same, but the spawn isn't. So you won't necessarily spawn in the same spot as someone else

Usually it'll be within the same area though, only a few blocks away or something.

Does anyone understand what determines stuff with the seeds?

-11(I think) makes a decent one, its all sandy and huge cliffs, I think.

No world is actually "random", it's based off your your current system clock. With a seed input though, it uses that instead.

It parses the seed to a number then uses that.

Well your world is generated with an algorithm. The seed code you put in is the beginning of this algorithm giving you a certain world depending on your start code.
