It's a failed attempt at Japanese "VIP car" (or "bippu") style:

    Celprata.jpg

The Maxima's not big enough for starters :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,594 ✭✭✭Testament1

You need something like these to pull off the VIP look:

    Toyota Chaser
    [Embedded Image Removed]

    Nissan Laurel

A Maxima just wont cut it I'm afraid

the car itself isin't spectacularly nasty, but the advert is cutting me right up
******NEED GONE THIS WEEK ***** - and when people say that, people always rush to buy the car this week.

    PRICE DROP FROM 1900

1 of the Cheapest civic for year on donedeal FACT - a very quick search suggests otherwise, but because he wrote 'FACT' in capitals that makes it fact.

Cheap easy insurence - insurance is very circumstance dependent, so no, in a lot of cases civic hatches are difficult to insure.

    NCT -03-2012

    TAX - 05-2011

    Honda Civic 1.4 i

Very easy to insure - first it was easy to insure, now its very easy to insure, companys must be phoning him begging to insure it, but at least he spelled it right this time.

Nice clean car inside and out

Well kept after wash's car and cleans inside twice a week .. - is there a comma missing or what the hell?

Car is a real eye catcher - yeah, a standard black civic with halfords bargain bin alloys must be snapping necks everywhere it goes  and if it does i'm sure its for all the wrong reasons.

Timen belt just done at 127000 miles - Timen?

New clutch gone into the car about 1 months ago still perfect wen i got it serviced .. - the one month old clutch is still perfect, well thats good news! should i have expected otherwise?

Car is IMMOBILISED Alarm Is in car But not hooked up over losing key .. - great, so the car has an alarm that doesn't work. thats like me saying my car has a turbo, but i keep it in the glove box.

Car is driven 110% just have to sell it because going to oz soon - is the car being driven 110% a good thing? i just don't know. :confused:also take note people, now he's going to Oz. :pac:

First two see will buy car is perfect - do people think that phrase actually works? are people that daft? what if the first person to view doesn't like it? either way he has invalidated his own rule with "first 2 see will buy", what will the implications for the 'first to see will buy' rule be? will there be a fight or how does this now get settled? also the car is not perfect, we already know the alarm doesn't work.

Has pioneer speakers front and back. - deadly.

Will do very good cash deal - this is like 'first to see will buy', who in their right mind wouldn't do a good cash deal, and what deal other than a cash one do they expect? a heard of cattle, 2 goats and a mans first born daughter? and then why do they feel the need to write it in their advert?

Who ever wants her promise it will work for bought of us .. txt and ring any time - what?

Swaps welcome may p/x for corolla - so he is heading to Oz shortly apparently, according to himself, so he needs his civic "******GONE THIS WEEK *****", but he is still interested in exchanging it for a corolla? what use will the be if he is immigrating, or will he bring it with him? or is he just a liar and not going at all?

Search altezza twin cam levin starlet glanza gt trueno corolla twincam supra civic sir vti crx accord integra bora passat golf audi skyline - irritating quicksearch, imagine browsing for a skyline or a supra as you do, only to be bombarded by the likes of this car.

these adverts do my head in.

most nearly every computer these days has a built in spell checker, there is no excuse for repeatedly spelling words wrong.

why do people feel the need to state the obvious and lie so much in their adverts? it really is very irritating.

there is simply no need or excuse for it, except (and i might get criticised for this) stupidity.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,176 ✭✭✭Top Dog

So you don't fancy the car for yourself then Andy? :pac::pac:

Though yes, I totally agree with your dissection and summary of the advert ;)

You analyze the adverts far too much,no harm with misspelling werds, its a car your looking to buy not judge a person on his use of the inglish language:pac:

If your interested in the car ring up then you can get all the details you want,

i hope you dont get turned off a car just because the owner cant spell :P

1.4 civic with a longer ratio gearbox now officially keeps right up with 1.6 20v levins and DOHC VTEC's.

this guy should ring honda, tell them to scrap VTEC and start using longer ratio boxes

Myself included, I make it a keen interest not to buy a car from an illiterate gobsh!te and one who says "ya know what I mean like" at the end of every sentence. The character of an individual plays a big part on my choice to buy or not.
