This is the shiny new thread for posting new videos unrelated to ongoing threads.

From now on randomly posted YouTube/other videos will be shifted here. The charter shall be updated to ensure implied knowledge of this thread's existence. I'm not going to sticky it - but regulars shall be expected to remember it!

If something is funny, it goes in the Funny Side of Religion thread (as always).

Interesting Stuff can be kept for science-type stuff, or studies and whatnot.

Do continue to post in both!

[Basically this exists for those random one video only threads that don't really belong in either of the above - but don't warrant their own thread.]

A very good video imo.

The uploader doesn't normally do video's with religious themes and this one isn't solely based on religion, if you haven't subscribed to his channel then you are really missing out. Or at the very least, watch more of his videos. ;-)

He's asking a legitimate question - but he's asking about the wrong things. We know perfectly well how planets were formed, and how stars were formed. We know the roll gravity played in creating moons, and how their orbits around planets were formed. We know perfectly well why the tide goes in and out.

If he wasn't such a moron - He would ask the more important creation question "How did the universe come to be?"

That's a much more valid question. I'm an atheist, and amateur astronomer and I still find it difficult to come to terms with the big bang, and the envelope of time. It's really difficult to comprehend for people, as are are so used to dealing with finite events.

So while he's asking in a moronic manner - I think the question is valid - Where did it come from?

Saw this last year. Richard Tillman is the brother of Pat Tillman, a former NFL player and also an atheist who quit to join the army after 9/11. He was killed by "friendly" fire in Afghanistan which was subsequently covered up by the Pentagon. 5:15 in is quality.

Of course. We could put any arbitrary name on the cause of the universe. They choose God. Let them be blissful in ignorance.
