Anyways, assuming it's legit and I'm assuming it is given the detail I must hand it to treyarch or whomever responsible for the depth of this Easter egg if that's the correct term for this. It's ridiculously detailed and difficult to obtain the meanings, not any Joe soap can do this one like getting the 90 second death machines on ascension.

A few people spent time deciphering the seemingly meaningless numbers that can be seen/heard in the single player campaign.

What they found was Treyarch are likely to have used a simple cypher translating letters to numbers (a=0, b=1 etc) and then further encrypted it using quotes taken from a book as the key (like a one-time pad system). The book, written by JFK, can just barely be seen in the game's opening cinematic.

After quite a bit of trial and error the video goes through how they have decrypted the numbers, and the results are codewords that show up during the campaign.
