People will say, well how corrupt can one get?

Ladies and Gentleman, I give you Michael Lowry!!!

I think it was extremely galling of him dismiss the Moriartys tribunals report... this is the guy who recieved money from Ben Dunne (£250,000 at the time) for an extension on his house... he denied that payment back then to the teeth and was proved guilty and "seriously corrupt". He has now been proven guilty in relation to payments he recieved prior to awarding the mobile phone licence to his good friend Dennis O'Brien. Why do people in Tip keep voting him ffs??

Can we get this scumbag out of office and in jail at some stage??

What I think is more galling is the fact that all this information was more or less known yet the people of Tipperary North still voted the bóllocks in, as opposed to the corruption itself

What is worse is that the Guys has not been prosecuted.... Its a complete scandal the Ireland has paid over 300million euros in legal fees for WHAT????......

    Are you serious?? "Jail" ??

You want him to be caged with hardened criminals for what he did, really?

Do you realise that he could end up in a cell with men who extremely dangerous.

Men who for instance, would think nothing of fapping in farm yards.

I think you need to rethink your position on this.

I think you should stop taking the piss :pac:

I believe it was a lot more than 250k. There were a series of payments and 'loans' organised to fund property deals in the uk and home rennovations in Ireland.

I think Mike Lowry should pay a visit to Michael Lowry and shoot him Bad Boys style

What we actually know and can prove I'm guessing is only a tiny percentage of what goes on daily to be honest.
Maybe I'm wrong but sadly I suspect not.

Sure the people of Tipp gave him the biggest endorsement they could by voting him in with a landslide in the election.

Corruption will only leave politics if the people make sure they punish the criminals that do it.

    But we are Irish.

    Sickens me to the stomach.

Yeah, youre right, fecker would end up more connected in there.

He must have something going for him we're not seeing. House wives love him, husbands what to be him type of thing (im going with a Ron Jeremy-esque physique under that suit )

People still voted him in knowing the sewer he's swinging in. Maybe he didint shít in the pool but the smell is following him.

Actually, this would be interesting... could someone on here from Tip North who voted for him time and time again, despite being exposed as one of the most corrupt politicians in the country explain ?

But did you see the other choices on the North Tipp ballot paper???

These same solicitors probably handed over brown envelopes to take on this case.

The new government should seriously consider a special tax on tipperary. Tax all in tipperary. Call it the tipperary tax. or stupidity tax. They might learn for the next election.

Tells us something and speak volumes about the mindset of some of the population of Ireland ie, if it's looks dodgy then it's got to be good

Enda Kenny and Fine Gael seem to be very quiet on the issue of Lowry, the payments and for him to resign. Shame really, you would've thought they were against corruption.

I like this idea! You vote in a corrupt (and it's not just corrupt folks, its "seriously corrupt") politician, you will have to pay for that :D

I say the people of North Tipperary should all be burned out of their homes - all of them, not just the ones who voted for Lowry. In fact, seeing as it's easier to blame them than Lowry himself, let's just focus on those and leave Lowry get away with it!

Give me a 'can do' bloke like Lowry any day above the likes of Ming who never did a proper days work in his life or provided a single job for anyone unlike Lowry who has generated loads of jobs in North Tipp.

FG kicked Lowry out of the party.
They forwarded the info to the Gardai I believe.

What more would you like them to do?

We have courts for a reason (God knows I'm no fan of them).

Keeping a vast team of tribunal solicitors in jobs for 10 years does not make you a 'can do job creator'. Michael Lowry is a man who has no vision for the country besides lining his pockets at our expense.

I'm not sure what planet you inhabit but if you believe Lowry kept the tribunal going for 14 years then you must be on the same stuff as ming is on.

Kenny should demand that he resigns for a start.

The courts? For a corrupt TD ? :pac::pac::pac:
