I got a surprise when I went home to visit my parents this weekend. They're involved with the Chernobyl Orphans Fund - and someone donated this Triumph GT6 Mark 3 to the charity.

My parents plan on raffling it sometime later this summer as part of their fundraising activities.

Yeah, generally I think super cars are silly looking machines, but this one is beautiful - perfectly balanced with perfect lines.

Surely it's just a pre-63 (year letter) plate - how would you go about putting an approx. year on it (apart from possibly knowing the start and end dates of production of the Bentley it's on etc.) ?

No, It's defiantly a re reg from 1994. I guess it's original plate was worth a few quid to a dealer.

Carchaeologist, what are you referencing that allows you to be so sure ? Not questioning your statement, just curious how you know :)

Was also sold by Huet Motors at one point (see other thread); a long gone Volvo dealer that used to be on Townsend Street.

Didn't know they even sold C32 Laurels over here, never seen one before (only seen C31 and C230s).
