    Sligo on Google Maps now higher resolution.

    Hope this isn't old news, but I have just noticed that they have added High-Res Aerial Imagery of Sligo City on Google Maps. This means you can now zoom in further (vertically) and see more detail.

    Problem:
    Unfortunately all the 'place markers' now seem to have been moved about 20 metres north-east.

    P.S. - This might explain some of the weird looking buildings (look at Market Yard) >>> http://www.nodalbits.com/bits/google-maps-fixed-escher-effect/

    P.P.S. - Anyone want to guess the year the photos were taken?
