    Bloody extreme catholics ;)

I have checked and apparently the 'free pass' only happens if St Patrick's day falls on a Friday and the local bishop agrees to it.

For future reference, who is the local bishop for boards? :D

Its probably one the nicest days off the year outside so I rolled up my sleeves for a walk after my lunch. I was craving chocolate again so figured the walk would take my mind off it. Feeling the sun on my face I thought an ice cream is not off the list and I rarely eat them (so no worry of addiction). I headed to the shop and dug my favourite, an iceberger, out of the freezer. Walked over to the till where the young lad on his phone pretending to serve the fella in front of me was dropping things. It was natural though, myself, himself and the other customer were all staring at what must be the hottest chcocolate rep in the country checking things in the background. I handed the lad my money still distracted but then it dawned on me that the iceberger was basically a CHOCOLATE ice cream biscuit. I cursed and explained to the lad who sill wasn't looking at me... stupid f**king LENT    The lad finally looked at me only because the rep was giving me the biggest smile. I put the change in the ISPCC box once again and left empty handed....

    Twas a close one though

There were two duty free size bars of Milka chocolate in the kitchen in work today courtesy of some high flyer. Usually such a treat would last until approximately 12.45pm and in any event no later than lunchtime. Myself and one of the other girls are off chocolate for lent. There was in excess of 75% of the chocolate remaining at close of business. This upsets me greatly....

Big debate in the office that needs settling – does an Oreo biscuit fall into the banned chocolate category? My buddy is having a bad day and looking for a Friday excuse... I reckon the ‘chocolate flavoured’ description would mean a bite and she’s out!

YES it dos! See my post above about the ice berger ice cream!

Today is daffodil day and we have a cake sale on in work. I'm sitting 100ft from the chocolate bisc uits cakes and brownies and I can still smell them  Last year I lasted 9 days, I'm on day 17 now :D

I won a bet with my brother's english partner last weekend over the Rugby Match and she now has to bake me a tray of brownies for easter sunday :D

have had the cakes&Buns but remain strong on chocolate/biscuits /sweets : actually its not that hard to stay away from them as long as you have alternative sweet things in the house ; sesameseed honey snacks : really bad for the teeth though , glad to have kicked the 4 o clock biscuits habit :)
