Chestnut/ red setter type dog found on N11 at Newtownmountkennedy this morning.

Has a collar but no details, anybody know anyone missing a lovely dog?

Any possibility that it has been chipped? I believe that most vets will scan lost / stray dogs for free.

Fair dues to you for going out of the way to look after this dog, thousands wouldn't.

I couldn't find any vets open today, and Saturday morning will be the first opportunity I have to check for a chip.

I had to stop for her, she was terrified, and running close to the traffic.

I hope someone would do the same for my dog should he escape!
