tbh i havent had a listen tru them all Ace, I skipped the gabber thinking it was Sean's bag and only got tru the first couple of the others....still convinced the first one is Q Project - Champion Sound (just cant put a finger on what mix)

I dont get enough uninterupted time to sit and go tru stuff at my leisure,always something else to be getting done!

They played here a couple of years ago (Nov 2008) in the Olympia Theater. Great night. Floored big time... Shane Mc Gowen sang an encore with them at the end and all. Great night. Missed the poxy after party though. Had a flyer for in in me pocket and all, got it off one of the touts outside before the gig. Didn't look at it until the next day. We were sat in an empty Bruxelles after the gig gagging for somewhere to go. It twas a monday night gig so nothing really on afterwords in the city. Mani (bassist and ex Stone Roses) was playing tunes in the Mezz after the gig, a regular haunt of mine I wouldn't mind. f*ck it anyway

great night other than though...

Sad news for sure. Apparently he stabbed himself during an incident with the Police. Along with Maxi Priest he was the first of the British Reggae scene to crossover into mainstream in the 80s. May he RIP.
