newly calved, curds in milk, harmful to calf

Cow calved 3 days ago and there were curds in 1 quarter. I milk out quarter twice a day and then let calf suck the cow. I then take calf out from cow.

There is still an odd curd in this quarter. Would it do any harm to the calf if I left calf in with cow all the time, ie would a few curds be harmful to the calf.

Apart from the odd curd, what is the rest of the milk in the quarter like?

The calf would be unlikely to suck the quarter if the milk was not right, it would have three other options which should provide enough milk, was tempted to say three udder options.

if you hadnt strigged the cow out you would have been none the wiser , cant see it doing any harm , as some one else said the calf will know if the milk is off or not
