Is there a site somewhere with regulations about ceilings.

Sunroom in our house has wooden t&g and a friend of mine said
the builder should have put up plasterboard first and then the wood over it.

    Thanks.

I’m no builder but I have heard discussions about the requirement for a vapour barrier (on the warm side of the insulation) and thus tight to the T & G causing problems with the timber “sweating” and thus buckling.
Sometimes foil back plasterboard is used first to avoid this potential problem.
