Hi I'm Cian from Racketeers. We're a Meath/Dublin based rock/alternative/indie band.
Members are:
Sean Creedon - Drums
Cian O'Mahony - Guitar and Vocals
Eoin Walsh - Bass
Rhys Thomas - Guitar

We've been playing together for quite a while and in summer 2010 managed to get a day in SALT Studios in Sutton, where we recorded a 3 track demo cd. The CD is available for listen and free download here --> http://racketeers.bandcamp.com
We've played gigs in places like The Helix Theatre, DCU; Whelans; Captain Americas etc.
We also have a facebook page where we keep people updated about gigs etc www.facebook.com/Racketeers
We'd love any feedback on the songs and we're pretty much always looking for gigs too.

By the by, No Lies seems to be the song people like most, so you might like to check that one out first

I like it, The first two songs make me think of a Kings of Leon and Arctic Monkey's milkshake. No lies is a good song, the chorus could be a lot more striking (no offense meant at all, I'm not a begrudger

) Great sound off the gear, drum sound is really clean as are the vocals.Well done and Good luck with everything lads.

I don't want to sound like I'm hostile to criticism or anything, but what do you mean by more striking? This is an honest question, not attacking you

We've gotten a few listens on the bandcamp page recently (http://racketeers.bandcamp.com) that the site says came directly from here. Would people who listen be able to give a bit of feedback? Constructive criticism really appreciated

Basically, 7e in. 4 bands playing. Doors at 8.30. Drink promos all night, and a DJ after the bands.
