Help with killing in the name solo

Hi guys just wanted someones opinion on this tab,or more specifically the solo,I know the entire song by ear and its correct but I cant get the damn solo.if somebody could tell me if the tab is correct or not it would be appreciated and if its not,could you recommend where I learn it from ? Thanks

Tab seems close enough alright, though there is a lot of whammy pedal usage there, it would be hard to replicate it without one. you could slide up 12 frets every time he uses the pedal (which is every note in brackets), it will sound close enough.

So go from playing this:

This solo is done with a Whammy pedal, so if you can't get something to help you pitch shift you'll never get it sounding "right". This could be the cause of your problems?

You need a Whammy pedal for this one, set to +2 octaves Whammy.
