Hello all, someone on here mentioned a company that does soil tests if you send them on the samples! (not Teagasc now) What was the name of them again? Thanks, westlander

i just did mine with my local centenary co-op (roscrea ) they gave me out the sampel tool i took the samples and gave it in to them they do the rest basic test 29 euro

Hello,
Can anyone explain to me the differences or benefits between these 4 different tests:

Theres 4 different ones:

1) The price of a LPK analysis is 12.50 euro including VAT,

2) LPK with Organic Matter is 22.00 euro including VAT

3) Trace Elements (SR3) gives you LPK plus the trace elements at 25.50 euro
including VAT

4) if you want Organic Matter with that it will cost you
35.00 euro including VAT.

I used Fitz scientific in Drogheda. Found them online.
They send out free boxes. You can get a sampler tool, Deposit required which is refundable.
Lime
pH
Available Phosphate
Exchangeable Potassium
They don’t give recommendations on what fertiliser to use.
€16.50 per sample incl. vat

They will arrange a courier to pick up samples €10
