why should he bother talking to the press if he can't be honest?

Its in the rules stated at the start of the season for managers to give post match interviews to all media after the game

Still and all, it must be a biter pill to swallow knowing the sheer amount of major trophies Utd have won in the last 20 years compared to Liverpool.

I can definetely understand you savouring a win over us.

Nope not at all, because i know that there are plenty of Liverpool fans older than me who lived through the 70's and 80's who enjoyed winning title after title, european cup after european cup while United won nothing.

Was he honest after the Wigan game?
you're right he should have said the ref was crap, like I'm sure Martinez insinuated and there wasn't any uproar.

No manger ever defends their players except oul big bad Alex though do they?

Your little buddy up there said "When Liverpool have won a few things", i think our trophy cabinet shows we have won a couple of trophies.

Yeh, but it needs a good dusting regularly . .

If there is one thing Liverpool fans cannot be accused of, its of letting everybody else know that they were once a huge club in world football . . :D

May i suggest a visit to Specsavers
2 different angles that both show the same thing?

    I didn't say that.
Just proved your statement earlier was wrong.
You have to admit Fergie could have come out today and just said a few words.

So the past success of your club makes you sleep easier?

    Past = Present?

    Yeah, that's good to know:rolleyes:

No, i really only care about Liverpool and how we are doing right now. I couldnt give a flying fúck how United do or if they win the title or not. It may be a strange notion to United fans, i know how much you love to worry about what we are up to.

He could have easily said i think the ref made a few mistakes today.
    Lets get things straight here.
    Carragher's tackle was terrible.
We all agree on that i think.
    Fergie could say that.

Football was around before 1992 y'know???

Liverpool are not that differant to Notts Forrest in many regards but we dont have to listen to them harp on about how "big" a club they are/were in the 70s (we didnt even have to listen to it in the 90s!).

But you can only live off the past for so long (not that it seems Pool fans havent tried) . .

Get with the Forrest Programme and accept that winning Trophies in the 80's is so last century . . ;)

Thats a fair point but he was out of line suggesting the ref not fair v Chelsea. Had he said the ref was useless, I think that would be alright (FA might disagree), and have been of value because, at the end of the day, no one wants to hear a David O'Leary-esq cliche ridden interview, but you cant question a referee's integrity, you should however be allowed question his performance

We'll have to agree to differ on this.
We'll soon find out cos if they are the same pic Nani will be out for a considerable amount of time

One chosen to show that Carra is in fact the devil and should be banned for 2 years. One which actually shows how little damage was done to Nanis leg

"Liverpool Will Crush Man Utd On Sunday" Declares Andy Carroll

    Written by Colonel Juan

    Man Utd training session

ANFIELD: Andy Carroll still hasn't slipped on the famous red shirt. Yes this morning, 24 hours after watching Chelsea's fabulous win over Man Utd, the £35m striker stepped out to predict, "We're gonna murder Manchester United this Sunday."

Carroll wanted to give a press conference about 'New Liverpool' under Kenny Dalglish.

But first he said a few words to reporters about 'Old United'.

"Didn't everyone see how tired they looked in the second half," he smiled. "It's not just their legs that have gone. It's their minds."

"Football's a lot like boxing", said Carroll. "This United is finished! Just look at the way Wayne Rooney punches. And the way Vidic hits below the belt. No wonder they're always in trouble with the ref."

"We're gonna roll them over on Sunday. Arsenal will win the League this year. We'll win it next year. You'll see."

"New Liverpool is already being born," promised Carroll. "The boss has told me all about his plans. Naturally, I can't tell you. But there will be two more major signings this summer."

"Oh yeah. Don't rule out me playing a part on Sunday."

"Might only be a short stint."

    "But I'm very close."

"And itching to score against MU."

Again, No I didn't. I merely said I could understand his hurt and upset. I don't think I once condoned it.

You were deflecting criticism of Nani lasing out at the ambulance guy* by responding talking about the extenuating circumstances. That was wrong.

*it turns out the video shows he didn't actually lash out at anyone.

    Ah Fergie . .

He says nothing, he is out of order . .

He says something, he is out of order . .

Maybe he should learn sign language . .
