    Where did you hear that?

Nani is one petulant little cry baby, if true.

At the End of the coverage on Sky of the Spurs game thats what the presenter said

I think you need to do a trophy count if you want to go down that particular road, warning, you may find the results quite startling.

I personally don't rate the twins.
Danny Welbeck i don't think would have been loaned out again at his age if Fergie thought he was good enough.
I think Fergie usually keeps the good kids at that age.
It will make me very happy if thats the best young talent united have coming through

I haven't known what to make of you as a poster before. At least now you have cleared up the question about whether you have a clue about football or not. You don't.

Judging by his performance today, id say he'd walk onto Uniteds team.
Didn't see much from Lucas today tbh. The Liverpool players that would get into the United team (and I said as much when United were linked with them) are Suarez and Meireles. United 'supposedly' were interested in Meireles but for like £20m but if (would have never happened) United got him for the £10 or 11 million that Liverpool did it would have been a masterstroke.

don't see anyone outside those 2 getting their game for United outside maybe Reina.

    Nah, the bloke has class.

Has Rafael offered an apology to Lucas, does anyone know??

It was a cowards tackle and his immediate response wasn't to apologise to nani, it was to plead innocence to the ref. Going to the dressing room was as bad.

    I'll not bother answering anymore.
    Cheerio:D

Because no one is attacking you, you just think they are.

Yeah and it's been around after 1992 too.

And the fact remains you guys have only one major trophy since then. And by major I'm talking about the Premiership and the Champions league, you know, the two big ones.

Does he actually get a weekly fine for refusing to speak to the Beeb?

Apparently its a relatively new thing, but nothing no fines have yet been paid as Utd and the EPL are negociating it

EDIT dont know how realiable this site is but:
The BBC's move to Manchester hasbecome the latest excuse for the Premier League's extraordinary delayin announcing the fines for Sir Alex Ferguson's multiple breaches ofmedia regulations brought in this season. It is more than 18 weeks since thePL board met to decide how much United must pay every time Fergie snubsthe BBC, as he has done since their 2004 documentary about agent sonJason. But Old Trafford have yet to beinformed of the fine they have to meet on Fergie's behalf - to thegrowing discontent of other clubs whose managers are starting toquestion why they should face the media when Ferguson doesn't andappears to get away with it. TV silence: Fergie has refused to speak to the BBC following their documentary about his son Jason It is understood the BBC's top brasswant to sort out the six-year impasse with Ferguson before theycomplete their relocation to Salford, where United will be next-doorneighbours. The PL have been told not to rockthe boat with Ferguson while sensitive talks are going on. Yet theofficial line from BBC Sport continues to be that there is no wayFerguson will ever receive the apology he is demanding from thedirector-general, no less. The media chiefs of Premier Leagueclubs have just met to discuss the extra regulation being brought innext season making it mandatory for managers or assistants to meet thepress after matches. Manchester United are the one clubwho don't - although they had a senior representative on the mediaadvisory group that made the recommendation

He should be fined for not talking to any media as its in the FA rules
why should he bother talking to the press if he can't be honest?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,387 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

He should be fined for not talking to any media as its in the FA rules

It'll be dependant on either Sky Sports, BBC or Talksport making a complaint as they're the only two that have a contractual right to speak to each manager after the game. None of them will because they're scared to annoy Mr Angry.

Your little buddy up there said "When Liverpool have won a few things", i think our trophy cabinet shows we have won a couple of trophies.

And didn't he have a go at one of the medics? Can only remember the commentator mention it, did it happen off screen?

Well done to Liverpool on their victory.....

They are only 18 points behind United now. I hope United find their form again or we could be out of the champions league and FA cup very soon.

Still and all, it must be a bitter pill to swallow knowing the sheer amount of major trophies Utd have won in the last 20 years compared to Liverpool.

I can definetely understand you savouring a win over us.

No, on screen while being helped onto the stretcher thing

Nor do you appear to be here to back up what you think you know. Which kinda makes a mockery of the whole idea of a "discussion" forum.
